Jay Strosberg

Jay is a partner at Strosberg Sasso Sutts LLP.  His practice is primarily focused on commercial and class action litigation.  He has extensive experience structuring and litigating complex national and international class actions.  


Mr. Strosberg is co-lead counsel for plaintiffs in class actions concerning publicly-traded securities, contracts and consumer-related matters. He has successfully resolved several national and international securities, foreign exchange and consumer class actions.
Mr. Strosberg has been involved in several precedent-setting cases.  He was co-lead counsel in the Imax securities class action, the first case litigated under Part 23.1 of Ontario’s Securities Act, which is still regarded as a leading case on securities class actions in Canada. 
Mr. Strosberg is regularly invited to speak at legal conferences across Canada on a broad range of topics including securities class actions.  His high profile cases frequently attract national and international media coverage for which he is often interviewed.
