HYUNDAI AND KIA GDI ENGINES CLASS ACTIONS

The lawsuits seek damages for, among other things, negligence and breach of warranties.

PREVIOUS SETTLEMENTS - On March 9, 2021, the Ontario and Quebec Courts approved a settlement that applied to all residents of Canada who were current or former owners and/or lessees of a 2011-2019 Hyundai Sonata; 2013-2019 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport; 2014-2015; 2019 Hyundai Tucson; 2011-2019 Kia Optima; 2012-2019 Kia Sorento; and/or, a 2011-2019 Kia Sportage equipped with a Theta II 2.0-litre or 2.4-litre gasoline direct injection engine. The deadline for submitting a claim form was July 19, 2021.
